Reasons for Hiring A Professional Window Cleaner

Your home is your most prized possession and proper maintenance including window washing, gutter cleaning, roof cleaning and moss removal should be your first priority. You cannot really afford to let your home crumble due to lack of proper upkeep and it is essential that the above processes are done at regular intervals. In this fast-paced world, it is very difficult to find the time to put in the required effort to climb a ladder and clean windows or remove moss. Moreover, people do not possess the necessary high pressure truck mounted equipment or power washing tools that are essential for this work.

Reasons for Hiring A Professional Window Cleaner

It is necessary to hire the services of professional agencies that are experienced in this line and can do the job quickly, efficiently and at a price that you can afford. Whether it is your home or your business, it would be advisable to browse the websites of various professional window cleaners and entrust the job to one of them after checking their credentials, price and experience.

For gutter cleaning, professional window cleaners use truck mounted special vacuum systems that can clean gutters thoroughly and extract the debris. The entire debris is removed by the agency from the site and disposed off in an official recycling location. The truck mounted system is also ideal for roof cleaning, because it eliminates the need to climb roofs, thereby minimizing the possibility of damage to expensive roof materials.

Professional window washing agencies use pressure washing systems that ensure a deep exterior cleaning of your home or business irrespective of the type of house, whether it is painted or has siding or bricks. This is the best way to get rid of the dirt from every nook and corner of the exterior of the house. Window washing is done with the help of water fed poles and de-ionized water technology and this ensures that the windows are absolutely clean. Professional cleaners can complete the job in a matter of hours depending on the size of your home and the number of windows it has.

Why Do We Need Clean Windows?

A dirty and smeared window obstructs the view from inside your home. It is essential to clean the windows to enjoy the beautiful view outside. A clear shiny window will reflect the hot rays of the sun more efficiently and this will result in better heat efficiency. With natural light coming in through your glass panes, your energy costs will reduce and in the winter months, the heat will be conserved inside the room, if the glass is clean. On the other hand, if the glass is dirty, none of the above benefits can be enjoyed.

If the window glass is not cleaned for a long time, it can get etched and stained besides giving an unkempt look to the home. Gradually, the glass will get damaged due to the presence of pollutants and it will have to be replaced which can be an expensive proposition.

Regular window cleaning is recommended by the National Glass Association (NGA) to reduce the risk of harmful deposits and consequent damage to the glass. Professional window washers are trained in this job but you need to find the best online company to do it.

A Chance to Own a Sydney based Window Cleaning Company Perfect for Expansion

Sydney could be your home if you take advantage of this business opportunity

Looking for a small business opportunity in Australia? Consider this, a small commercial and residential window cleaning business based around Sydney’s Upper and Lower North Shore.

The business which has been established for 16 years is currently run by a husband and wife team who only work 3 or 4 days a week so would be perfect for an industrious entrepreneur to take the reins and embark on an aggressive program of expansion throughout the Sydney area.

The business has grown primarily through word of mouth and has a strong repeat customer base. It would definitely benefit from a coordinated and sustained advertising campaign to move the business to another level.

The business is easily scalable with few overheads, a high profit margin and the price includes all the equipment necessary to get going. It currently generates under 50k a year but has a healthy profit margin and with a little work the turnover could be doubled.

Kitsap Co. prepares for 9/11 memorial groundbreaking

SILVERDALE, Wash. -- The death of Osama bin Laden carries great significance in Kitsap County, where organizers are preparing to break ground on a 9/11 memorial that will feature steel beams from the World Trade Center.

The plan is to begin construction at a ceremony on September 11 of this year. The memorial will go in a currently undeveloped part of Evergreen Park in Bremerton. The goal is to complete the project by September 11, 2012.

"This is going to be an incredible memorial when we're done," said project architect Dave Fergus. "Our focus is really on the people who were there -- those who perished and those who survived."

For now, two twisted steel beams from the World Trade Center are being stored at the Central Kitsap Fire Department in Silverdale. Fire Chief Roy Lusk put in a request for the beams, which were delivered to Washington last August on a semi truck draped with an American flag.

When the memorial is complete, the beams will stand on end and, from certain angles, will resemble the Twin Towers.

"It's going to be something where the local community can come out and actually touch and feel and see a piece of history." said Division Fire Chief Randy Billick.

The memorial will also feature two pieces of stone from the Pentagon.

Other elements of the memorial will focus on stories of heroism.

"It's the story of the boss who led his workers to the stairway, went back for someone else, led them to the stairway, went back for someone else -- and that's the last they ever saw of him," Fergus said. "It's about the window washer who was stuck in the elevator and used his squeegee to open up the elevator doors, and he and six others fled the building and survived."

While much of the country is currently focused on the death of Osama bin Laden, organizers said the memorial is really about everyone but the mastermind behind 9/11.

"What we're focusing on is the people who were there and the personal accounts," Fergus said.

Final design plans are now in the works. Organizers are still working to raise money for the memorial. Donations can be made online: http://www.kitsap911memorial.org/
